Terms of Service

1. Services

CrestLake Studio ("we", "us") provides custom web design, development, and local SEO services for small businesses. Services are described on our pricing page and in individual project scope documents.

2. Pricing and Payment

• Prices are published on our website and confirmed in your project scope document.
• A 50% deposit is due at contract signing before work begins.
• The remaining 50% balance is due at launch.
• Payment methods: credit card via Stripe, or bank transfer.
• Late payments may delay your project timeline.

3. Scope Changes

Any changes to the agreed scope will be quoted and agreed in writing before work begins. We do not send surprise invoices. If the scope grows, we agree the new number first.

4. Timeline

Typical build time is 3-5 weeks from deposit to launch. Timelines depend on timely delivery of content and assets by the client. If client-provided content is delayed, the launch date will shift accordingly.

5. Client Responsibilities

• Provide accurate business information, logo, photos, and copy
• Respond to review requests within 3 business days
• Make the deposit and balance payments on time
• Provide access to domain registrar and Google Business Profile if needed

6. Intellectual Property

Upon full payment, the client owns the website code and content outright. CrestLake Studio retains the right to display the completed work in our portfolio, unless the client requests otherwise in writing.

7. Post-Launch Support

30 days of free support is included after launch, covering bugs and minor changes. After 30 days, ongoing support is available at $150/month (optional, cancel anytime). Major changes and new features are quoted separately.

8. Hosting and Third-Party Services

Websites are hosted on Cloudflare Pages. The client is responsible for any third-party subscription costs (booking tools, payment processing, domain renewal). We will clearly communicate which costs are included and which are the client's responsibility.

9. Refunds

The 50% deposit covers initial design and development work and is non-refundable once work has begun. If we have not started work, the deposit is refundable within 5 business days of payment.

10. Liability

CrestLake Studio is not liable for loss of revenue, search ranking changes, or business outcomes resulting from the website. We build quality, fast, SEO-optimized sites — but we cannot guarantee specific search rankings or business results.

11. Cancellation

Either party may cancel the project with 7 days written notice. If the client cancels after work has begun, the deposit is non-refundable. If we cancel, any deposit paid will be refunded in full.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Any disputes will be resolved in Lake County, Florida.
